TRACCC MODEL
Have Hope, Inc., a not for profit organization, developed and utilizes a multi-systematic behavioral health model (aka the TRACCC Model). The TRACCC Model is a comprehensive integrated model comprised of out of school time programming and youth development services focusing on enhancing the mental/behavioral health and well-being of Children in Need of Assistance/Supervision (CINA/CINS). The TRACCC Model, also recognized as a wraparound service delivery model of care, promotes experiential, academic, and creative learning necessary for the acquisition and development of Life Skills, Scholastic Competence, Spirituality, Health & Wellness, a sense of Community & Citizenship, Talents & Career Skills, and experiences that promote healthy use of time and empowerment of leisure/recreational pursuits. The TRACCC Model is implemented through the coordination of home and community based services to not only better child outcomes, but also family outcomes. The TRACCC Model allows families much needed support, relief, and time to recover from the extreme demands and challenges of parenting CINA/CINS. Services are individualized, culturally competent, client centered, and therapeutic, as well as strength and outcome based. Services account for learning styles/differences and are flexible enough to be delivered in sufficient amounts, duration, and scope to enhance well-being, based on a youth’s changing needs and preferences.
